What is the best tire size for F355 Challenge rims?

    Should I stick with 225/40 + 265/40

Also what brand you recommend + model tires, I think best go for is Michelin pilot sport 4S or Michelin pilot sport 5

And now I hear some run 235/40-18 back 285/35-18

I think the best tires are Michelin PS4S or PS 5

So what size tires should I choose?o_O

I recommend Michelin PS4S in stock sizes. I've run them, without spacers, on the track in rain and sub-45F conditions since their introduction.

Michelin is good. Little too hard for my liking on the street

    Biggest question

    Street or track driving?

Street I buy the softest tires I can find. I never wear them out from miles always they time out first so sticker the better

Most street driving, but weather in Norway so different rain and twisty roads thats why I think better Michelin PS4S than softer tires

    Reza,

I'm sure you meant PS4S 235/40-18 front and 265/40-18 rear.

The PS4S 235/40-18 tires are a bit taller than stock. If your car is lowered, 15mm spacers might cause tire rubbing on the fender lips. Check with your shop.

Refer to this guide for the effects of wheel track on a car's handling...

So this are taller than other brand 235/40-18? Or other Michelin 235/40-18?
My car is not lowered, but my car is stock and FHP. The shop where my car is they have same set-up but PS2 tires + non FHP car.

Factory/Stock front tire size for the F355 is 225/40-18 and you bought 235/40-18

265/40-18 is the Factory/stock size for F355 rear tires.

Use this formula to determine tire diameter: tire diameter = wheel diameter + (2 × sidewall height)

The sidewall height can be calculated by multiplying the aspect ratio by the the tire width.

You can also use any one of the tire size calculators found online to avoid doing the math.

When you asked for recommendations, I answered "I recommend Michelin PS4S in stock sizes. I've run them, without spacers, on the track in rain and sub-45F conditions since their introduction." We don't add spacers on our Challenge cars and we stay with Factory/stock size tires for cold or rainy weather. The PS4Ss are very popular these days. We don't use spacers when we run slicks.

You'll be doing your driving on the roads so rely on your shop for tire recommendations.
