Anyone know of a good reliable tire source in CT? May be purchasing a 360 and will need to replace the tires.

Tire Rack carries them, have them shipped to your fitter of choice :)

    +1 on tire rack

I've found that Town Fair has a great selection of tires but seriously lacks in the services side. repeated poor job mounting, balancing, torquing etc... Find someone that can do the services well and they don't have access to many tires. TireRack.com fixes that.

    Thats a differant question...

In my experience I have not yet found a shop that treats the wheel as a jewel. For some reason they all seem to handle it as a indestructable, undamagable entity. When mounting a tire it always appears as a race, the lowest time the winner. I've even witness an operator step away from the wheel like a cowboy from a roped calf, hands raised as if to say "time".

Like you, I shall continue the search but have given up in the world of tire shops. I shall now direct my efforts to the small performance shops that may understand the wheel and its vulnerabilities a little better. Please let us know if you find someone.

Very happy with wheel shop I used in Windsor Locks. Got Michelin Pilot Sports from Tire Rack and had them mounted by this shop. Did my 355 and saw Porche going in after me. I'll pm name if you are from this neck of the woods.

Knowing where you are located would help. But I use Tire Depot in Bristol, CT. Never had a problem, are very straight forward and have good prices.

I am in Central CT so Bristol is not far. Thanks for the feedback guys. I am basically looking for a good place where I could trust that they are going to do a good job and not damage anything.
