I am going to be competing in the Classic 24 @ Daytona in November with my 430 Challenge and was wondering if someone can recommend a suitable tire to run on Daytona's high banks. Last year I competed in the CCR race at Daytona in my 360 and the 430's were blowing their Pirelli's on the banking so they had to disallow the 430's from running for safety reasons.
    Yokohama, Hoosier?

Hoosier makes an Oval racing slick that would be suited for Daytona. We ran these in 2011 when CCR was there.

Also remember to take camber out of the right rear and stand the tire more upright. Will make the infield a bit challenging, but certainly safer.

I would say that the setup is far more critical. Pirelli offers a tech prescription, and it is my understanding that this was not strictly adhered to. Have many testing/racing days under our belts there....we haven't personally experienced any issues with Pirelli Tires-fwiw.
