Hey, how thick is the sidewall of a 265/35/18? I hit a curb today and the tire did not lose pressure buy I did take a roughly 1/4" chunk out of the sidewall. Opinions please?

    Thanks

1/4" sidewall depth is a lot (total is maybe 1/2") - you will probably need a new tire.

I did when I had similar damage to my Maserati's tire.

BTW. make sure that you have 35 psi or more in your tires - for better protection for your wheel rims from potholes.

Wow 35? I keep mine at 30. Book for spyder says 29 for up to 167mph and 33 for above, So what your good for 200mph+? How is ride comfort with 35? Maybe I will try as am very parinoid of pot holes
