Anyone going to participate in the Panoz track day event 5/14 (Friday)? They'll be running the roval. Entry fee is minimal and there is plenty of seat time. Pretty much run what you brung, but no race cars. Matt
I have a pass from Bobby Archer's Motorsports for a Panoz event, maybe this will be a good time to use it.
I assume this means the 360 is broken in. Have fun on the track and let me know how it goes. By the way, has the wife had any comments on the new exhaust yet?
Panoz = minimal cost? Probably not, even for just a lapping day at TMS. Typically, TMS runs ~250-275 for one day. I hope it is cheaper than that. Panoz schools = instruction. Panoz lapping days = don't expect instruction.
You are 100% correct. I did one Panoz day. If you aren't as price sensitive as me, it's fine. However, don't expect any help. You have pro instructors running the event, but not much time to instruct. TMS is a blast though. Just raced there Saturday. Check out my videos in Racing section on the Spec Miata thread. TMS has a bigger appetite for eating cars than TWS or MSR, but I think the risk factor is acceptable.
Where is the sign on for the Panoz day? TMS is just up the pike! Might try to take the SQ which should be serviceable by then!
