I am from Calgary, Alberta Canada. We don't have many Ferrari's so what would someone recommend as a model that has low maintaince, convertable, great handling, and second hand, of course red and under say $120,000 but wood prefer under $100,000 for my first Ferrari. I would have to get the service done out of Calgary so I would need help on the best place close to me.

A good, low maintenance first-time Ferrari is the 328 GTS. The 1988 - 1989 ones are the most desirable, but any 85 - 89 one is good. It has a targa top and most recognizable lines of any Ferrari model. The engine has either 265hp or 270hp and performs well given the light weight of the car.

A nice one will cost $50k - $60k USD. They are now fully depreciated and may start going up in price over the next 5 - 10 years.

They are low maintenance because of all the refinements made over the years from the 308 and 308 QV. They had a simple form of fuel injection and electronics in them.

Here is a red/black one for sale up in Canada:

I owned a red/tan 1988 328 GTS about 6 years ago and recommend the car for a first time buyer.

Also, like other people have said on this thread, the 355 is a great car, but it is a little higher maintenance but you get more horsepower with it.

Contact Maman, he can get you into a 360 for around, maybe a smidge higher than the price your looking for. Nothing like having a current model.
