To my fellow New Yorkers - parking question

I didn't own a single car in NYC that survived my ownership without some incident involving public / valet parking. Now these were all Porsches and as upsetting as it was I learnt to live with it to not lose practicality altogether.

That being I said I picked up my first F-car a few days ago (2010 458; pics to follow) and that car is residing predominantly outside the city. But I want to drive in on occasion.

So I wanted to start a small collection of "no drama" garages in Manhattan that you'd recommend to park the car overnight on a weekend and who will let you park yourself.

So I am going to start with my favorite in midtown, which is Edison Parkfast in the Hippodrome building at 50 W 44th St. They have a couple of niche parking spots which usually are filled with supercars on the weekends and they always treated me well.
