Guten Tag oder Guten Abend (whenever you read this)

I am going to be in Heidelberg next summer for 4-6 weeks. I am sooooooo anxious that I wanted to post now. What is it like there? I am going to be attending the Goethe Insititute at the University of Heidelberg. Are any of you familiar with it? I cannot wait! I am full blooded german, my parents came from there, and I would love to see the country that has my origins in. What is there to do in Heidelberg? Anyother info would be awesome, and maybe I could meet some of you guys!

Wow, awesome wolfgang. Thanks for the info. I think it would be really cool to meet you too. And those links you gave are extremely helpful. I had no clue that the Goethe institute was in Mannheim because it doesn't say that on the application I did, but it does not matter, it will be awesome anyways. I really hope that i will refine my german there even more. Fluency is a major goal of mine.
