There are plenty of receivers out there that are great at their jobs that don't require his brand of trash talk and questionable behavior. I'm amazed at Pinkston, has he always been that afraid of a hit? They don't broadcast a lot of Eagles games where I live. I do love to watch McNabb though, he is in a class of his own.

I love reading your posts Rich. Every sports star is a SOB according to you. Bonds sux. TO sux. Me thinks you are a bit bitter. It is after all the holiday season, Rich. Yeah it is sad that TO will be out for the season. I have no love lost for the Eagles, but I think TO is fabulous. So what he is show boaty and dances around, and is a bit over the top. IMO, I pay to see that. If I want to watch retarded straight laced people play football or basketball, I can watch the kids who play college, who supposedly "have love for the game" or whatever BS the college people say. To me, that stuff is booooooooring. Then again I am not 50. I like the pizzaz, the ego, the showmanship someone like TO brings to the field. THe man has character, charisma, and ego. Sports stars are entertainers, and that is what TO and other people like him do best. I use to like M. Irvin and D. Sanders. Those guys could straight ball on the field and then party all night. TO is one of those guys that is a jerk, until he plays for YOUR team. I couldn't stand the guy last year. Thought the football signing thing was beyond stupid, and that he should have gotten a huge fine and suspension, alrhough I did kind of enjoy his dance on the Dallas star. Philly signs him, and all of a sudden it's simply the "quirky" behavior of a super talented player. They guy is flat out skilled. And a jerk. But now he's our jerk, and I love the way he goes out and plays. I can overlook the other stuff. Having said that, we're screwed. We don't have enough talent or depth to overcome his loss. Oh well, another season goes without the big trophy. I don't think 1960 was that long ago.....
I saw him on one of the late night talk shows last week, don't remember which, but I watched for a couple minutes not knowing who it was. I thought he was pretty entertaining. I'm sure he rubs people the wrong way, but when you're one of the best at what you do, there's room to talk trash. Flame away.
