In the spirit of being light-hearted (not meant to offend), I would love to see the bookmarks in the browser of that cop car computer. There must be things like: DunkinDonuts.com and Gunsandammo.com.

 

I am the one who posted the top picture in the original thread. I hope people realize that I saw this thread and thought it would make for a funny picture that I hope would make a few people smile. Trust me, I am not spending my shift surfing Fchat and do not want people thinking the other officer who posted a pic does either. This was done in good fun and I hope my fellow Fchatters don't think we're sitting around surfing instead of protecting as the title of this post implies.

PS- After I took the pic I thought it would have been funny to put a Dunkin Donuts coffee on this dash. I, however, will never, ever enter a donut shop while in uniform. Too many "Hey, imagine seeing you here!" comments for my weak stomach!!

Reminds me of this funny scene: my Sgt and I were approached from across the st. by an old fellow, locked his keys in the car. We had to cross 4 lanes of traffic via U-turn so we hit the lights to break traffic and then made an immediate turn into the business where the guy was...wait for it...Dunkin Donuts! While we didn't go inside it must've perpetuated the 'cops rushing to the donuts' stereotype.

I check fchat all the time from the car when it slows down a bit or I'm on break. It's a good way to relieve some tension that comes with the job. And for the record, I've never purchased a donut on duty or in uniform. However, I have eaten several....in uniform... in private... We don't call them "power rings" for nothing!

 

I poked a little fun at you and 285 in the other post about the pictures but I think as most of the others here you guys take your job seriously and do a great job protecting your fellow citizens out there. I took the post as you had said "it was done in good fun". I actually thought it was cool you were able to do that, great timing.
