I bought my 360 just on 12 months ago and in that time travelled only 2000-2500 miles

I had it fully serviced with new belts a week after ownership

Question is do you think I need to service it again ( oil change etc ) or can I wait until another 12 months or 2500 miles?

The oil looks clean, it has been driven sensibly on the street, never tracked and it's not under warranty so do you think I need to ?

I am not being tight, more just don't have the time and don't like mechanics working on my car if they do not need to

    Cheers

Belts, fluids, new tires, new hoses, new plugs and new ignition coils EVERY YEAR! :)

OK, maybe that's a bit excessive.... :) Just change the oil and you'll be fine. 12 month interval regardless of miles. Rationale: oil will collect condensate from the engine and acids from use, even if only a thousand miles. Change it out with something fresh yearly. Especially when it sits *wink wink*..

I usually do my DD every 6 months and I average 10k miles a year. Its a habit from my 986 days.

How about looking at the maintenance schedule in the owners manual and at the very least following those recommendations? There are other checks to be done annually.

    You know you're right. :)

But thinking about it... you also MUST replace all the seals in each hydraulic actuator in the top mechanism if its a spider. Even if they look fine and its works well, it might break.. so you should replace it.

Oh yeah almost forgot about the Oil/water intercooler. Even if its not broke. Replace it.

I'm sure there's more that should be done. Oh, and it should all be done at a certified Ferrari Dealer.. because.. stamp in book. :)

I do annual oil changes on my infrequently driven cars. Not really sure if it is necessary, but the oil manufacturers these days say good for X thousand miles or 12 months, so I follow that. I am actually warming up to the idea of even doing 12 months for my daily drivers. I still do 4 month changes on them which is probably excessive with high quality oil.

The good thing about servicing once a year is it is a chance to have the car inspected for leaks and worn parts. I highly recommend a general inspection be done annually, especially on a car that sits a lot.

It's a real mistake not to change coolant annually.

I recommend both coolant and gearbox oil get changed annually. Only good way to really check for cross contamination.

The idea that engine oil (or any other fluid) has a 12 months working life is pretty daft if you think about it but in the absence of anything else it is about as good an indicator there is......

To the OP, IMHO have it serviced.....don't skip it.

I have mine done for one reason alone that is often overlooked in the debate over fluid life. The car gets a 12 monthly, full day, proper check over by someone I totally respect, have trust in and who knows the cars really well.
It is far more than just a few bits and there. I know my car is in good order when it comes back and if he were to spot something deteriorating I hadn't, he could also save me a packet.
We have developed a good relationship and I know he will help me out if I need it....loyalty works both ways.

I also do the 360 transmission oil every year on his advice, as he said it gets a hard time in that box and on a 2 yearly change it is totally shot when it comes out.
