    Maui, Hi
My 308 GTSi , has been stored for the winter here in Minnesota with the oil in it for the past 7 months.
Should I simply just drain it with all the moisture in the oil, then refill it, or is it a fact better to start it up with moisture contaminated oil ,let it warm up, boil off the moisture then drain/fill it up ?
Anybody have some ideas whats better.
    Thanks
    Mark

Normally you want the oil warm so that it drains easier, and more completely. But if you are worried about water, drain it cold. Put the new oil in then change it again after 1,000 miles of driving. If you live were it is cold most cars have engine block heaters. But I highly double that you have one on the Ferrari. Other wise you could have turned the block heater on and then drained the oil, without ever having to turn the engine over.

Your acts regarding starting the car shouldn't have anything to do with concern about condensed moisture in the oil. If you'd been flooded out, that would be a different matter, but when you're only dealing with a little bit of possible condensate, it shouldn't be a concern. The reason you want your engine warm when you change the oil is to have the contaminants stirred up and suspended in the oil. When you drain it, all those microscopic nasties will drain out. All better!
