We all know it sucks---We all feel for Mike--But nobody will admit to this--the person may not be on here. Mike should call the police make an insurance claim and get it fixed. I would hate if it happened to me and be pissed also--Hate that it happened to Mike or any of us, but these threads aren't going to draw the person out. Stuff like this happens to people everyday--Trust me I got the worse luck in the world!!
I've got 100+ pics of the cars at Concorso, I will review them tonight to see if I can see anything in the backround of the pics. What a moron, this is the same kind of guy who beats his wife, steals from his job, and wonders why he cannot get a head in life. F-king scumbag!

Everyone assumes it is a Fchatter since it happened at an event right? Don't other people work at these events as well? Who sells the hotdogs and cleans the toilets at these things, other Ferrari owners? I would say it is safe to assume at least 5% of the people at such an event are hired staff, hired at a LOW rate of pay versus the chatter crowd. Did Mike have any encounters with staff? Did he rub someone the wrong way? Why pick HIS car over all the other Ferrari's at the event? Makes you wonder if there is a personal beef, as was implied in the not naming another Fchatter thread. I had my IROC keyed at Giants Stadium during a Boston concert, it sucked and took five times for them to get the paint the right color. In the end, the guy who stole and stripped that car to the frame did not seem to mind the repaint and did not hold it against it resale value. In the end, the ONLY thing that really matters in life is that you have your health. You can get the car fixed, it won't be a cherry anymore, but no one seems to mind the repainted front bumpers in regards to resale, so this may not hurt that too much if done properly. Just remember the ENTIRE system promotes failure. We take money from the Fchatter via taxes and we redistribute it. We talk about achieving the American dream, but when someone does, they have to worry about their children being taken for randsom, their car being keyed etc...While you want to believe one of your fellow Fchatters is not the culprit, how many CREDIT CARD millionaires are here versus TRUE cash millionaires? The person who did this maybe overextended and stressed out and jealous. They want to be in the Enzo crowd, but their finaces force them to be much lower on the ladder. In the end, human nature in America is talk about achievement, punish those that get there, and only forgive them post-bankrupcy/rehab, you know a VH-1 Behind the Music special. Fix the car and let the culprit stew in their own vile, bringing it up for them to see is the FUN, like the BTK killer, they WANT to cause upset and you guys are giving them a stage for that if it is an Fchatter. The only way to punish a person looking for attention is to ignore them, anyone who's had a three year old w/ a temper tanrum can tell you this.
AFAIK, it was a little something like this: Mike and some other fchatter's didn't sit to well because of events that happened on this forum. Some fchatters posted mike's full name, (which was on card on his car at concourso), and mike had posted pics (How many red 550's have novitec wheels!). Mike knew no one from the event. 2000 cars, his is the only vandalized one. He has reason to believe it was one of the fchatters he had not rested well with that vandalized the car.
I don't really see what this is going to accomplish. If the guy IS on here, what, it's already been done, what's the best that comes out of this? The guy is mentally messed up for the rest of his life? It's happened. What're you gonna do? Maybe the law will take care of him. karma will bite him in the ass. For all I know, the guy feels horrible now, but is even emberressed to come forward, and really regrets it. If the same person goes on to vandalize more things, they probably need some mental help. It's not the first time I've said this, nor will it be the last. Forgive and Forget.
The cops won't bother to look into this case because they have other things going on. I know from experience! The person needs to pay for what they did and the only way they will get caught is if someone turns them in or if someone comes forward with pictures or video of the criminals in the act. I have had a lot of my property vandalized and burglarized and none of the people have ever been caught. Forgive and forget....NO WAY! BTW, Sorry for participating in the highjack Peter.

Corporal Punishment, eh? I guess it just depends on your outlook on life. If people want to look through their photos and see if they caught the culprit in the act, more power to them. I just don't see what having a "I don't like you" thread is going to accomplish. [This post was not intended, and hopefully did not come out to offend anyone, and don't get me wrong, I am upset and feel bad for Mike that his car was vandalized]
