Ok, took the g/f out to Tobay to check out some cars. heavy traffic on the Southern. *LOTS* of Mitsu, Nissan, Honda...etc on the way out. ***LOTS*** of police & radar out all busy with victims. It's very impressive to see a whole collection of cars (called the explosion car club) go from 60 to 35 in 2 seconds & crawl by a police car. LOL. we finally get to Tobay lot & the police shoo us away. Shut down! The officer told us the organizers were told no, posted it anyway. The rangers & officers were at least nice about it. Heck, they were making a whole month's worth of revenue in a single day!

We went further down to Oak beach next to the RM pkwy.....The place to be as a substitute. Lots of cars. Some old, lots new, lots of bikes. I'm sure the locals were pretty pissed off the place was *packed*! No pics....nothing terribly noteworthy.

Anyway, hung for an hour or two, then lunch in S. Islip & back home. Great day for a drive.
Sorry I didn't meet up with anybody. Hope everyone had a nice drive today

all the cool cars were out in the AM, hundreds of cars ferrari, lambo, porsche, corvette, vipers mostly. But everyone was gone by 11 am. dont know what rolled in after we left.

I liked seeing the original GT 40 next to the new ford GT

Noah called me & bailed last night. I assumed Rob wasn't gonna go either since that was Noah's hook-up. My mistake. Next time I'll call Rob. I would have loved company for the drive out. And now I'm miffed that they shut things down just before I got there :(

Glad to hear some folks saw some interesting cars. Pics anybody?

Yeah sorry about that Clyde -- my cars were all spoken for this weekend, Rob's vette only had two seats, and I didn't really want to haul out there in the TL...;)

    Hi all
I was there early, chatted with Dave white.
there where about 10 Ferrari's including the F430, looked really sweet, sorry forgot the memory card so no pics. Most of the Ferrari's left by 11 including myself, like Clyde said the PO PO had a field day, my buddy got a ticket just for no front plate on his 348, all in all was a nice drive UNDER the speed limit

Yeah it was a good morning, glad I flagged down Peter and intro'ed myself. Usually there are not so many police. It was caused by Tobay fiasco, too many folks talking about doing dumb things on chat sites, ect.

I was told by someone to avoid the beaches Sunday. I think last week some people caused a little trouble so the pollice will be retaliating.

I'ld put $ on the fact that porsche moved its auto X to this weekend and didn't tell anyone, just so that the traditional take over didn't happen :)

of course everyone stay away! the porsche guys wanna run in peace this year.
