Today is the Day!!!!!

That is right. Today my family is going to pick up our Ferrari 308 GTSi. It will be the first Ferrari in our family ever. I am so excited. Still have to wait an hour and a half before we can head up there, and it is an hour and a half drove. That is way to long to wait. I can't believe the excitedness some of you go through when waiting for your new Ferrari months on end. Ill post some pictures of it at our house when we bring it home, but for now, here are a few when we first went to look at it.

thanks for all the nice comments guys. Just wanted to clearify a little. Although iw ould love for it to be mine, it is however my dad's car. i am only 17, so just a tad to young to own it myself. I am still allowed to drive it, but being 6'5", it is a little challenge just to get into the right position. But i think i may still be able to do it. My dad and i also wanted to thank everyone here on Ferrarichat. although we have not asked any questions particularly, we have learned a great deal of knowledge by reading others posts about problems. For instance, the horn didnt work, after a little oil, she sounds great. My dad had read about the oil here on F-chat. We have fuse blocks from Birdman, ready to be installed, because it has been suggested by all the owners. Again i want to thank everyone here on f-chat for making it such a great place. The wealth of knowledge here is beyond that of anywhere else. It helped my family make the decision to buy this car, and the info we learned here made us sure we picked the right one. I still dont believe it is ours. Even though it takes the place of my care in the garage, i still can't believe it will be there in the morning, almost any day. Well, i take that back, it probably wont be, my dad will be out driving it, but hey whats a car for. Here are some pics of it at our house. Im still so excited!!!

By the way, no mods yet, other then the Kinesis K27 wheels. One of the reasons we bought it. It is a virgin car, basically form the factory. It isnt in concours condition, but we can still have fun with it and learn lots from it.

Isn't Brian Crall a Ferrari tech, or was? Ill let my dad know he look slike him. the 308 is a 1982. Thanks again for the nice comments. Cant wait to subscribe here at F-chat and as a member of the Northwest Club. Hope to see some of you guys in future events.

Thanks Birdman. My dad keeps joking about putting the stock wheels on, but i keep telling him no. Your fuseblocks look extremely nice! Can't wait to put them in, but my dad wants to study the wiring a little more before attempting it. This is such a great fealing. Everytime we pull up to our house, and see the 308 sitting in the garage, i (and my dad) smile from ear to ear. It is so wierd, it doesnt seem right, but im not complaining. Yesterday, i got to "work" on my first Ferrari. What a blast it is. Hopefully the weather cooperates lie it has been, and we can get a few more bugs worked out, so we can drive it daily. Thanks again to everyone for the help.
