http://jalopnik.com/5832985/for-44000-is-this-308-better-red-than-dead I believe that this car has been discussed here before. Regardless of price this is probably one of the sorriest Ferraris in existence today. Once you factor in the asking price....some things are better off left unspoken.
I'd rather have the burned one, forlorn in a wrecking yard in New Orleans. That car is just terrible.
I wonder whatever happened to that car? I was thinking of bidding on it while it was on Copart, but I saw the auction re-run several times with the bidding never exceeding about $3500. I was under the impression that copart was no reserve.
I'm embarassed that it's an NJ car. Wish they had obsured the license plate. Please excuse me, I need to run. I'm going to be sick now.
The things people are willing to spend their money on never seizes to amaze me. If the amount of money spent on the body and paint were invested into the drive train someone could have had a great driver.
No doubt it's an abomination but the rear looks good and overall it has been done well. Still hate it but can't ignore flashes of brilliance here and there throughout the design. *Dons flame suit*
Was it not the first and last? I seem to remember some coachwork deals but nothing else, could be wrong though.
Obviously I haven't seen this vehicle close up but I have to say that was allot of work and it looks like an improvement to me but with all that work it is now worth nothing! Lost
A stock GT4 in a nice 70s colour looks great, they've aged way better than anyone thought they would. This, on the other hand... I guess it's prettier than an F50...
Actually as time goes by I have a feeling that the F50 will age well. My gut also tells me that 20-25 years from now the next "ugly" Ferrari will be the California. The GT4 has aged well. Compared to the similarly wedge shaped, Bertone designed Countach and see how well the earlier cars aged compared to the later cars. One could make the argument that the 25th anniversary Countach was the ugliest car to ever leave the Lamborghini factory. Perhaps it is a good thing GT4 did not live too much longer than it did.
