Absolutely. Can you even imagine the pressure of running THAT team ? There has to be much more pressure on him to produce a winning car/team, than there is for a driver to produce a win.
Thanks Andreas - there was nothing on Autosport and IMO that's the most accurate source of autosport information for all venues. They aren't the "National Enquirer" as are some sites. Carol
IMHO the most accurate source is "motorsport aktuell". Sadly I can't get it here in the States. If you understand German, grab one on your next trip.
Thanks for the info, magazine, newspaper?? - John understands German. On a recent Lufthansa flight there was a motorsports magazine in the bin in the galley area but darn, I don't remember the name of it and it was in German. Carol
MA is a weekly, published on Tuesdays. Eric Waiter might have it. Autosport is good (I subscribe to the online version), but it is fallible! -Peter
Holy cow, you know it? I'm stunned. Who is Eric Waiter? You're quite correct, it comes out on Tuesdays. I believe it is made in Switzerland, but the editors/reporters are all a mix of German/Austrian and Swiss. It is printed only in small volumes, so at the newsstands it is often sold out by Thursday. Format is newspaper (recycled paper) with mostly b/w pics and some in color. Covers ALL of motorsports, 4 wheels and 2.
First source, F1 insider earlier this week, now at Hockenheim. Second source Autosport daily e-mail, first thing this morning, but they have since withdrawn the story. I wonder why? But my first source has been batting 1000, so I would think the story is quite true.
Sorry, they used to be strictly an importer of European based diecast models, but now they are the source for subscriptions to many European based auto magazines. I did not see MA on their list, but you could call them, they might be able to get it for you. I get 3 magazines from them, they are reliable, and the mags come in envelopes so they are always in great condition. www.ewa1.com
