So an upcoming Hall of Fame class will have two great QBs: Roethlisberger and Brady (and they'll enter one year after another: Drew Brees.)
I was hoping he doesn't retire and he goes to the 49ers for his last season and wins a Superbowl with his childhood favourite team...that would be a dream for him and 49er fans. He grew up idolizing Joe Montana, wanted to follow in his footsteps and play for SF....now he can.
And he purposely omitted any reference to Pats… https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2022/02/01/tom-bradys-retirement-announcement-omits-reference-to-patriots/
Amazing after all those glorious years. I get the he and BB may have battled; but what about his fellow teammates, Bob Craft who supported him, and what about millions of loyal fans? Weird. I think he has too much class to make such a glaring omission, I suspect there is more news coming.
Media has some axes to grind it seems. They resurfaced this one showing he likes to lie and mislead. Maybe he despises the Pats organization for how they didn’t protect him when he was found guilty? Could be he’s rightfully pissed still about being released by BB. https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2021/06/26/tom-brady-says-you-should-rarely-listen-to-anything-tom-brady-says/
So any thoughts/opinions/predictions on whether TB will pull a Favre and end up "un-retiring"? Going from being an active NFL superstar to House Boy for Gisele may seem attractive right now after a playoff loss etc. etc. but how long will that last? Will the adrenaline drop-off be too much to bear and he comes back? If so, how many teams would want him and be willing to pay for him? Should be a fun chat
will Gronk now retire after unretiring. i doubt he will want to play w the Bucs after they tried to screw him on bonus money.
There was a NE fan who went off on him on twitter for not thanking them or mentioning his time in NE. It's obvious he is bitter that they let him walk, as he likely wanted to finish his career in NE. He probably feels that they didn't believe in him any longer, or that the thought he was washed up. But why be bitter, would he have won another Superbowl in NE? Highly unlikely, but instead he can join Peyton Manning as the only two to ever win a SB with two different teams.
Not gonna happen, he's not going to uproot his family again and move, or be away from them. Not a big deal to me, he didn't make reference to Tampa Bay. Gronk already said that last week, waaay before anything about Brady leaked out: 'If you have to ask me today if I am retiring, I would have to say yes', or words to that effect.
He tied his shoelaces backwards today! OMG, he’s going to be a Packer! The bigger news is Flores accusations which as the media pulls it together is starting to look scarily accurate and damning against at least one owner.
