a real neat car guy in charlotte has opened a new business in concord,nc. it is a gentlemens auto storage that is designed for the person w/ too many toys and not enough space. i think i am his first customer and put the boxer in there for safe keeping. the facility offers climate controlled environment and totally safe and secure. access is simple and there is provision for deatil and light maintanence that can be performed on sight. a much needed service. there is room for over 200 cars under roof!

it would actually be a nice place for a regional meet , i feel certain that tom would love to roll out the red carpet for us and facilitate a get together.

    if interested...let me know.

    best,

    pcb

I am curious because I have had the same idea and presently doing some research on the subject. How are the fees charged and amounts? Is it a condo concept or true storage rental aplication? Any information would be helpful.

the program is quite simple. the fees are based on three types of storage:

    1. outdoor gated storage @ $30.00/mo

    2. indoor secured storage. the space is limited to approx 150-200 cars. epoxy glossy floors, full security cameras and access to a detail area and a lift for oil changes, wheel changes, brake job...?
    fee is $100/mo

    3. secluded storage w/ full climate control. up to 40 cars . $150/mo

about tom, he is a contributing editor at road and track and is a cur guy from way, way back. no car is "just a car" to tom and as such, i am very comfy having my cars stored there w/ confidence!!

if there is interest, he would be only happy to host a regional get together?
    thoughts?
