Here are some pictures from Tom Cotters Woody Party. That guy loves cars, and all types. What a great host, can't wait till next year. Nice to see you again Lennart (sp?) the boxer is beautiful and that 348 Challenge car is very impressive. Looks like it was a blast! What's the deal with the pics of the unrestored classics? Any more info on those? That Shelby at the bottom redefines the word "patina"...
Tom is infamous for barn finds, infact he wrote a book called the Corbra in the Barn. Anyway, those unresored cars are just that, barn finds. The Abarth was a hill climb car he found in Long Island not sure where he found the Berkleys but they just as cool. If you get the chace to speak with him, you would be amazed at the info that man posses. Funnly about the GT500, it has a NC dealer plate from 1979 on it. Very cool and all original Wade
the gt 500 has literally been sitting in a field for 30 years and tom was aware of it for nearly 20 of thosa years. tom had been continually been trying to buy the car but to no avail. he finally was offered the car last year and it now resides in his storage facility where he will decide to either restore or keep as is. it a very cool car as a result of the story...yes a barn "yard" find! his book is a must read for any enthusiast. where did that boxer come from? i bet tom was wondering if that boxer was actually mine. nice to see another in the area. pcb
Pete excellent taste, yes and I can't wait until I can get a boxer , incredible cars I belive he lives across the street from Cotter. John You missed it cause you were heading to Ricks, or something to that effect. I'll make sure you know about the next one. Wade
I'm glad to see that there was a good turnout despite the crappy weather we had all weekend. With the Lake Norman drive and this, I'm glad to see the weather didn't keep you guys down.
