Yup. I saw him on Jay Leno. At leaat he didnt jump on furniture this time. Did you see the vidoe when he got squirted by a water gun by the reporter? That was funny!!
I thought he handled it pretty well all considered. The reporter ended up being the one looking like a dork and then arrested.
TC caught on film demonstrating his OT III Xenu powers after an offhanded remark by Oprah... Image Unavailable, Please Login
I agree 100% I heard a radio station blowing the account all out of proportion. Then I saw the video on the internet and thought that TC handled himself like a complete gentleman. I don't understand why people bag TC, to be honest. I think he's one of the last, competent leading role actors. And his belief in Scientology is his own perogative. Noone's extollment of any particular religion has every swayed me, so I don't see why anyone should be criticised for taking pleasure in their faith. I personally don't believe in Scientology for even a second, but I think that the concept of Xenu is just as implausible as Adam and Eve. Had some stranger sprayed me in the face while talking, I would have probably nutted him. TC's first reaction was to laugh, and then act like an adult about it. He's a better person than I.
I agree 100%. The problem is that TC is not jsut taking pleasure in his faith, he is trying to make ME take pleasure in his faith. Religion is a personal thing, so unless I am specifically going to see you (or Tom, or anyone) talk to me about faith, I don't want to be preached to.
Jon, Thanks to you, my monitor is a lot farther from clarity than it was before I spit coffee all over it! Q - What will L. Ron do if Godzilla stepped on the E-Meter factory in Tokyo?
Watch them in order. http://gorillamask.net/cruiseoprah.shtml http://gorillamask.net/cookkimmel.shtml
Any celeb would probably have there own library of videos aside from there movies. Thats not Talent!.
Big difference between having Confidence (Tom Cruise) and running a Confidence Game (L. Ron "Failed Abortion" Hubbard) http://www.nationmaster.com/encyclopedia/L.-Ron-Hubbard P.T. Barnum is quoted as saying, "there's a sucker born every minute." Tom Cruise was the sucker born that particular minute.
I was told L Ron H came up with Scientology as a BET. As in "I bet your can't create a religion." Anyone know better? PS You're welcome Darth!
I was being sarcastic, lol. There are a few celebs who "vid library" i would mind seeing. Like Eva Longoria's. Grrrr baby. Oh, the hell with Paris Hilton.
my reaction was the same when i first saw it...ive been wanting to post it here sooooo bad and then, BAM! a thread all about Tom pops up!
It doesn't matter haw many times I see it....it still beings a tear to my eye. Awesome, just awesome!
Most of the Scientologists who work in their Dianetics* centres and so called "Churches" of Scientology do not know this story since they are not allowed to hear it until they reach the secret "upper" levels of Scientology. It may take them many years before they reach this level if they ever do. The ones who do know it are forced to keep it a secret and not tell it to those people who are joining Scientology. H*ll, if I paid all that money to hear that story I would keep it a secret too. I would be too embarrased.......................... I had a roommate in the 80's that started Scientology. He went for 6 months then came home one night asking me if he was acting strangely, introverted, withdrawn. I said yes and he quit going. I found out later how much money they soaked him for and just about fainted. Maybe he just didn't pay enough to get "The Smile" Didn't somebody mention CAPITALISM in this thread?.
