Good on him, he's made a fortune and entertained us all in several good films! Dont think anyone can disagree with that!

Puzzled by the scientology stuff but maybe its us that make too much of it. Each to their own!

While I don't agree with everything that Cruise has to say, I do agree with the fact that he is not afraid to make a statement. I like the fact that he isn't afraid of tarnishing his reputation for standing for what he believes in as an individual. Who knows, in 50 years we may be praising him for his statements about the negative effects of the drugs that are so easily prescribed today; Maybe we won't. In any event he as made his mark, both in his profession and as a man, which is more than most.

Yeah, Tommy drives me nuts these days! Can't stand all the preaching B.S he has come to. However, I'll still watch Top Gun and Days of Thunder every single time it's on without thinking twice. Not to mention Rain Man, Risky Business, and A Few Good Men.

Didn't he do some of the driving on Days of Thunder? I rememeber him driving a cup car around a road course on Entertainment Tonight and looking half way like he knew what he was doing.

 

Second that. He is right on with his attacks on drugs and quacks. As to scientology and couch jumping, well no one is perfect. But i do like watching this. The evil laugh is great.

I watched a show on MTV last night where Tom and the host of the show (a black dude with huge dreadlocks named Sway) went to test out some of tom's bikes at a track in the mohave desert. He seems to be enjoying his life, not everything you read in the tabloids is true. I think when someone gets too much publicity, people start to hate them and they become the target of the tabloids.

Either way, it was funny to see the host (sway, i think) get cocky and end up smashing one of tom's bikes. retard.

 

yeah, that was Sway....Locked the front wheel by braking too hard in a corner and the front slid out.....You know that helmet had to be uncomfortable with all that hair though.

 

I thought he was stellar in "Born on the 4th of July" and still shows potential, should his agent direct him to more mature roles.

Regardless of bashing, I agree w/ the others...he is living as Sinatra did 'my way."

 

i saw that, but i missed the part where sway went down though. also they werent his bikes they were extras. if you notice they were all the same exact bike and almost all the same color scheme

btw, the Veyron isnt his, i forget what dealer it belonged to but they want almost 2 million for it. i guess tom cruise ***king up the outside door handle ups the value? that door handle is probably like $40k and it would take 2 years to get it. because you know that there isnt going to be many parts for these cars
