I heard that Tom Tedesco is now at Ferrari of Washington. I had dealings with him when he was the Ferrari sales manager at Shelton Ferrari...you won't find a nicer guy. Stop in and get to know him. He's the best.

With all of the other "big" changes, I hope this is a move to start a fresh rebuild.

For sure he was always very helpful at the track events and I will always be grateful for his help there and Brian!! I would say to just hang out and chat with he was always very cool and nice, just needed to keep the business side of the friendship out.

Appears to be an indication of a dealership flailing; repetitive changes in positions, no true focus, and lack of clear leadership. FOW has a great deal of built up loyalty and following and it would be a shame for them to see it all erode. I assume they will get their act together - they have taken some positive steps - but still have a long ways to go.

Glenn was always willing to help, especially with regard to keeping my car in proper track condition. It is hard to believe that almost every former employee was not performing and had to be terminated. It is not like an itact, experienced team was brought in to replace them.

None of us were underperforming. The problem was that we were performing better than our direct supervisor. To an inexperienced manager that is a serious threat.

In service, with two exceptions (deserved terminations that happened *very* early in the process, if even before it really began) all failures were engineered and that threat of power and the subsequent hiring of inexperienced yes men was used to secure one job during the turnover. Intimidation and humiliation became the management style because it was initially so successful.

I am hoping that the new management finally realized that they were "had" and made changes or allowed an exit for other opportunities.

WOW. Glenn has left. I thought his would be one of the stable positions there. The last of the old guard, original cast gone. I wonder if he remembered to turn off the lights before he left ? Did anybody get an invite to a farewell party ?

I enjoyed working with Glenn while I was there. He was a nice guy that seemed very well versed in what he was doing accompanied by a passion for the brand that he serviced. It is very difficult to find that combination of passion and firm commitment to excellence. I hope that he is well and finds a new home. He will be a great addition, in my opinion, to any team he decides to join.

Good luck Glenn, I know you are reading this.

I went by FOW today to visit and say hi.

Sad to hear Glenn is gone. If anyone finds out where he ends up, please post it so we all know.

On the bright side, I got to meet Tom Tedesco and chat for about 10 minutes or so. Great guy.

The inventory of Ferraris for sale has completely changed again. They are selling quite a few previously-owned Ferraris every month it seems. There is a stunning black 599 there. And a tdf blue/tan 612 too. The red Ford GT with white stripe looks like it is in perfect shape. I would post some pics but I forgot my camera today.

Chris, I mean this with no malice to you since (as much crap as I've given you in previous posts) I really wished for success with your efforts at FoW, but you have no idea of who the real person was and what was done to stay in position. I heard the calls. I watched the whole development and I was even an ignorant participant in some of the designs. I have a long way to go to balance my own Karma. I can only hope that this exit was some sort of moment of clarity on all sides.

To add: This is a good and happy move forward for everyone. We need the dealership here.

Hi - what is Tom Tedesco's job at FoW?

I had the pleasure of meeting Glenn's gracious wife at one or two of the old FoW parties; also met his sons, great kids. I wish Glenn the very best, wherever he lands.

Recently got an email from Rick Pozdol about refinishing some parts. He said he was the Parts Manager, maybe another new guy? Maybe he took Petersons place. Back and forth with emails about parts, he seemed like a really good guy....

Glenn being gone is actually a really good thing for the technicians there. Moral was at an all time low in the shop under his regime. Now it all depends on how "management" handles the situation.

I'm sure some of you have read my previous rants about FoW. That said, business isn't rocket science: Just treat people well and charge a fair price and the rest will fall into place. In my eight years of dealing with FoW, that has never happened...........Sad.

    Hey Robbie,

Rick has been attending the Cars and Coffee events in Great Falls and Fairlakes. He usually brings out a different toy - that's for sale - every week. Real nice guy!

    Hmmmm.. seen that tactic before.

It's really a shame to upset the balance when you have talented & skilled people that actually enjoy what they're doing. So many managers and/or owners either don't realize this or don't care!

I've known Glenn since his Porsche/Electrodyne days and he's always been top notch.

Anyone know if Arnie Poundstone is still there @ FOW?

Glenn always treated me fairly and went WAY beyond to help me -to the point of staying late on a Friday before a track day and working on my car personally to make sure I was able to go
to the track. Lots of people got the same treatment. He was one of the best people I've ever had to work with on high performance vehicles from a communication and service perspective. He's a great guy and will be an asset wherever he lands
