Jon, How is your car doing? By the way: last year, while driving my 330, I met Paul Haus - your old boss from the hopewell motors days. Regards, Art S.
Geesh! I'm humbled by your enthusiasm! I started my website in '99 as an outlet for my obsession, and it's nice to hear that you guys are as obsessed as I am! Now, let's get on with Ferraris! Tom
Welcome to Ferrarichat, Tom. I remember spending hours reading through your site page by page! It helped fuel the addiction long before I found Ferrarichat.
just a bump https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/threads/330-gtc-inspection-for-concours-judging-by-tom-yang.689058/ .
Tom’s last post was 8 yrs ago according to his profile but visited last month? wish he would post more, he is a wealth of information.
Last I heard he still maintains his own website & forum in it. Perhaps join & try there if you have a need to draw from his “wealth of information” ?
I was hanging out on Tom's page before I joined F-Chat. Found my 330 through another member. Tom & I are still friends on Facebook.
I don't think he's posted in his own forum in 5 months. I saw him at Pebble last year and he goes to many other shows, like Cavallino.
but he does post weekly on his forum “blog”. he presents detailed information on his current projects. he is a rather top notch restorer with multiple awards at places like Cavallino.
Tom once visited me with a customer of him who wanted to buy my both 250 GT/E. a very nice and knowledgeable guy. sad that there is so much local distance between us.
Dyke, I second that statement. After almost frying my clutch going uphill at 5 miles an hour behind a car with a 50 lb flywheel on the 2008 PB Tour my "pit crew" including Tom helped ensure I made in onto the PB ramp to accept our 1st in Class and Enzo trophies. True gear head! and a good friend! Best regards, Robert Image Unavailable, Please Login
Dyke, Brian and Tom are the Rat Pack of Fchat. Dyke is Dean Martin the smooth crooner. Brian is Frank the enforcer That leaves Tom as Sammy. the guy with the glass eye. Viva Las Vegas!
I still kick myself this last summer waiting in parking lot to start the Pebble Casa Ferrari rally Tom was there, I should have introduced myself, but he always attracts a crowd and I'm shy.
Nice guy, very helpful. I've spoken to Tom a few times over the years, and he's always been good about helping out related to vintage Ferrari matters.
