TomᚠEnge placed on probation by IMSA for rest of 2007

This is too bad for Tomas, though what does this really do? I couldn't read the whole press release, but does it state that if he has another penalty he's done for the season? After his terrible crash at long beach I'm sure he's already frustrated by missing a large chunck of the season and his nagging elbow injury must really be rough for him, though I must say his driving at Lime Rock was pretty dirty.

 

He should be glad it's IMSA and not the FIA. In a press release just issued involving a Seat driver in FIA World Touring Cars in the matter of "cause of avoidable " -> cancellation of all times and a drop of 10 grid positions for next race.

Jeez he's pretty much always in trouble, lol

 

No joke, doesn't really matter what he drives - VERY agressive driver most of the time seems to be on the limit. He put it off the track during warm-up at Lime Rock - slightly different angle to the off and he would have been in the large area of water after the first turn. Perhaps he's practicing for driving the PWL entry at Dakar.
