And here one of the best upgrades i made! I´m so happy to get the chance to buy these extremly rare seats. First in thought i would start an little project to build them up in full leather, with black stiching and the Daytona Design but after i put them in the car, i start to like the optic very much! The yeloow stichting is a nice contrast and the fabric give a very "grippy" feeling. And the outside is leather which match perfect to the original leather interior. So i think i couldn´t get a better Scud seat pair for my car. Pic from the seller: Image Unavailable, Please Login
First i gave them a complete clean up! Seller pics show a very good condition but after arrival, they show some storage marks and dust. After several steps from cleaning and detailing they look like new and they smell new. Wow, great pics. I especially love these two. Would make a great "aspirational" ad campaign for Fiat/Ferrari. Also those two of the 430 next to the Porsche. You have great taste and a good eye. I really enjoyed the vicarious thrill of enjoying your delivery day experience. Thx, JTW
Just came in, sitting in the car and testing the seats without driving because battery was down... I make some "WRROOAAAMMM" sound and it was enough to say: i love my new seats...
Wild!!!! That's almost like factory fitted and colour coordinated! Well done! Love the leather and yellow stitching. Perfect match with the tacho. Good job! Fresh off my iPhone via Tapatalk
A little bit like a child under the christmas tree! I come from the Porsche aircooled scene and there were a lot of seat combination and even the super rare 964 RS Recaro bucket seats can be find second hand. But F430 race seats and Scud seats seems to be a "holy grail" and near impossible to find. So i´m very happy with my find and the result! And my wife love them, too! On the other side, i love the style of the original Daytonas a lot but i´m a little bit too tall for a perfect seating position and with the Scud seats i found "my" seats.
I plan to change the the roof liner upholstery from the silver fabric to leather with the diamond pattern style.
Can´t wait to get it back from the upholsterer... Interior looks a little bit naked... Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Hello, may I ask you if it's difficult to change the original aluminium plate on the steering wheel with the new carbon one? would like to upgrade mine too but have no idea how to work it out ...thank you so much.
To fix the sticker from the Manettino is a little bit tricky but no big work and the rest is very easy and MACarbon deliever the parts with a perfect instruction plan. And in my eyes it is on of the best carbon finish quality i've ever saw!
New Carbon steering wheels from Ferrari run near 6.000 USD and a used one round about 2.500 - 4.000 USD. And the carbon from the Original looks often really bad. And the know how John put in that Carbon Cover and the finish quality make the cover to a strong buy in my eyes. OK, in the end it is a lot of money but you won't regret it.
thank you really nice discussion, love some upgrades you did to your car , I am thinking about this steering wheel center and the Carbonio extended paddles as well. Here's my car. Image Unavailable, Please Login
