Taking the 355 out tonight.. Just made 7:30 reservations at Red Rock's for the wife and I.

Anyone else going that direction tonight??

Have to admit - love your pic in your profile. I have two girls, both my wife and my youngest get motion sick. No car lovers there, but they do know Lightening McQueen!!! Part NASCAR, Part GT40, big exhaust, sweet!

"Luigi follow only the Ferrari" (my oldest won a bet about whether it was "only follow" or "follow only". She just assured me that it is "follow only". I am not inclined to argue with her now )

 

If I watch that damn movie one more time, I'll explode. Cameron has collected (not kidding) 47 of those Cars collectible toys for Luca. He can name every single one -- even the obscure bit characters like "Leak Less" and "RPM Racing 64". There are about 10 versions of Lighting McQueen too: Racing McQueen, Cruising McQueen, Bug Teeth McQueen, Bling Bling McQueen... etc. Sadly, we have them all.

 

Moondog, what part of North Carolina are you in? I'm right over the mountain from Asheville, in Johnson City. Just joined the fraternity, too, as J. knows. Picked up a 328 yesterday, it'll be here next week.

Newgentry, congrats on the 328! You will love it. We had an '86 GTS and I really should have kept it... (in addition to the 355!) But my wife would have probably killed me! We live in Denver, along the west shore of Lake Norman. We have been here for 8 weeks, today, and love it! We both are born and raised Michiganders, what a sweet change for us!

J. Salmon, thanks for the note. My son was a complete Cars freak! Its cooled quite a bit (thank you God!) My wife and I could have jumped on stage and performed the whole movie ourselves! It was a great movie though! Pixar really did a great job on it.

Moondog, I'm in the Winston Salem/Greensboro area. I've actually played golf at a course in Denver called Cowans Ford Country Club. It was about 9 years ago though. So I guess it's about this time of year that you're enjoying the change from the Michigan climate??
