    I'm off to Melodie's restaurant for the 'Last Supper'! She is closing her doors at her restaurant tonight and getting out of the catering business! I bought a bunch of filet's and lobster tails and I'll have a feast with my friends.

    I've lived the catering / restaurant hell for over eight years with this woman. It almost broke us up about ten times. If I did'nt have to bail her out six times a year, I'd have that Enzo!..OK, maybe Darth's old 555!

    This poor girl has worked her ass off for ten years for nothing, but the experience of getting sued by employees for the gov benny's, having thankless employees and an ex manager that put her in a bad financial position (IMO to be safely correct in a public forum). ALL OF THIS HELL IS FREEEAKING OVER WITH!!!!!

    you smack, i grew up in northeast phila, not north philly. a huge difference, like comparing lower marion to camden nj.

    Restaurant/Catering biz is a make or break proposition. Tough, tough odds.

    She gave it her best shot - and that's where the success story really is.

    She did not fail. When she doubts herself, remind her of the (many?) ideas you've had that withered at the vine.

    Tally everything up, take the write-off and move on.

    In the meantime, unwind.
