355 Tonneau Cover (Black)

I am looking at a F355 Spider with a black interior and the tonneau cover is missing. I was told that they can still be obtained from Ferrari at a very high price but that they are only available with black fasteners and not with the chrome/polished fasteners anymore. I have tried to look at as many cars as I can and it seems like it is quite random whether the chrome fasteners were used or the black fasteners.

Can anyone comment on how they originally came? I have definitely come across quite a few black tonneau covers with the chrome/polished fasteners so I am assuming this was how they came originally and the black ones are replacements?

Also, does anyone have a source for a new factory piece at a better price than from the dealer?
