Who thinks that Montoya was justified in trying to take him out in Homestead.
I think it was a "racin' deal" also, now that one team/driver has won half the Chase championships, and they are boring as hell, how long until we see a return to a proper, full-season points championship?
the first incident was a "racin' deal". the second one on the backstraight was a cheapshot. Monty spinning Tony on the frontstraight later on was a real cheapshot. they're both dirty drivers/hotheads, but it made an otherwise boring race interesting (will Jimmy Johnson finish higher than 35th to clinch the championship?!? stay tuned!...) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p9xQXX9-OSw
Yes first instance was a racing incident you could argue 50 50 responsability but Stewarts reaction on the back straight was completely out of order and Juan Pablo was right to show him he was having none of it later. Haven't cheeered like that for some time What is unfair is that Stewart gets off with no penalty for sending JPM into the pits for a very long repair whereas JPM gets a 2 lap penalty when Stewart was able to continue with no damage. Miami Herald had a nice little article on all this today, Johnson's comments as wily observer are funny. http://www.miamiherald.com/sports/motor-sports/story/1347216.html
