Hi Guys, I really appreciate all the great pics. It is fantanstic to see we have such wonderful cars around and the wonderful people in our city that enjoy these cars. But....I have a small issue with ONE THING. In future on a forward basis I wish you would block the license plates for these cars. Unfortunately not everyone is fortunate to have such gems and there are people in this world that are evil, it makes me uncomfortable to think one day my car will be posted like that. I am very private and do not mind people enjoying the hobby, heck, I like driving people around, but to be exposed and have plates on the internet...I am not keen on that. I am not here to offend and be anyones gate keeper...its just my point of view. Happy Mototring !!
I agree 100%. All it takes is someone to have a friend at the MOT or police, and obtain their home addresses & other interesting information.
You serious? If that is true, that is really not a good thing. Can you imagine some whacko guy seeing an attractive woman and then finding out where she lives? Are you sure about this? Let me know.
guess i'm kinda wrong. here are the details from the website: Description Plate search containing the most recent owner of a plate. The information is retrieved by using the plate number. Contains owner's name, vehicle description, plate number, validation sticker number, permit number including date of issue and status information. It does not contain any Personal Address Information. This search is available at Driver and Vehicle Licence Offices. Certified searches can also be ordered through the internet. Even if its the owners name.....not hard to find in a phone book or 411 where you can get someones home address and phone number. This is what Im talking about. I know it takes a bit of trouble...but its creepy. Hope you blur out the plates. Cheers.
