    I have owned 39 Porsches, include 2 of the 996 versions, I found them to be very reliable, though neither were left sock, and both were driven harder than most drivers would. I am not a fan of AWD in any sports car, and my 996tt was converted to RWD, but if you need AWD, then the C4 is not a bad car to own.
