    Hi all, i am brand new to this forum, i'm currently living in bali, indonesia. An aquaintce has recently gone thorough a divorse and wants to leave, and want to sell his car.

    details are sketchy from the emails i've gotten so far, and amount to this;

    vin number / chassis number : 03460
    here also we attached the pictures of 1972 Ferrari 246GTS

    I've attached a couple of pictures...

    hes asking $50,000!

    I dont know a Ferrari from a ford, so any advice would be most welcome.

    oh and the car is on another island about 2000k from me, so i cant just pop over to see it in person. but i can get more photos, and or video?

    Bad luck to all you other vintage FChat guys but you missed out. I have already sent the $50k to Indonesia to get this beauty. I was a little worried that the description was for a GTS and the photos were for a GT but I am sure that it is all legit, and for $50k what could go wrong??? A bargain.

    Worth 50 grand? Maybe. It's hard to say from photos. If it's a bondo'ed up rust bucket, it may not be.

    But, let us know. You may have found a real bargain.

    This should have been posted in the Dino section for more people to see it.

    The thing is people fall for these stings.
