    For easy comparison: M-B CLS - 196.6"LOA, BMW M3 - 176.9"LOA.

The 2+2 numbers surprised me, the 612 looks like twice the car of the 456 on the street.

I find the constancy of the "Dino" line, up until the 360/430, to be rather remarkable.

Surely the 5.99, derived as it is from the 612, will be about as big as a 456.

The trend is troubling, and far too large in magnitude.

At least they are upping the HP as they are upping the weight of these cars. If they didnt, they would be sluggish behemoths, but their performance figures tell otherwise! They still get up and boogie! Even the heavy 612! 0-100kmh in 4.2secs with a car that weighs 1840KG?? Not too bad! The "smaller cars",360 and 430 are more the sports car these days and the 612 and 599 are the tourers! :)

Think about the Ferraris from the 1950s and 60s, they were bigger than the ones from the 70s. Car sizes change through the ages, maybe we're due to see smaller cars withing the next 10-15 years. Or maybe everythings just going to get bigger and bigger, and they'll have to remake all the roads in the entire world and build new bigger bridges and tunnels and stuff for our massive grey-hound sized Ferraris.
