Took my engine out!

    I was just going to prepare for the engine out today, draining fluids, removing wheels, wheel wells etc...But since everything was going pretty smooth, I just went on and removed the hole thing. Tomorow I will start to tear deeper down into the engine to find my " rock in a can" sound ( suspect the oil pumnp chain/tensioner)

    Btw the belt look pretty good ( 3 years, and 2500miles since last belt change)

    Its okay, but I will move it to another, more beefy, stand when I start working on getting to the chain and tensioner.

    You feed them through the holes in the fire wall, little by little, as you raise the body of the car.

    Yup it can be done in one day. ESPECIALLY if you have a lift.

    I know how they come out. ;) I found that taking them out and then putting them back in properly to be a real pain.

    Yes. This is my first time ( also the the first time I have removed an engine from a car) 5 hours total. It really isent that big of a deal.
