It was a bit slow but I was heat soaked bad from the 90 minute drive to the track at 80mph. Humidity was bad as well. Slower than my Z06 but i'm gonna head back to the track and do it right. I have a challenge from a supercharged Viper so were going to video tape that. I doubt I will win but it will be fun.

    Was that 11.5@123mph?

Pretty good time, especially that ET, for street tires.

Yeah it was 11.5@123 I think.. That's ok. normally I could run that easily in my Z06. I think my first ever Z06 run was 11.7@126.

Measured this last night on my gtech meter which I have found to be pretty darn accurate at the drag strip and the standing mile. his was a QT measurement so I could have done 60-130 a hair faster due to the shift at 65. I could have started the 60-130 in second instead of first which could take off a little. The car was failry warm and heat soaked as well so it may have gone 7.5 at best but as it stands 7.8 is pretty quick.

How come it's slower on the drag strip than the ZO6?

The ZR1 looks beautiful in white by the way.

New to driving it. Harder to launch than the Z06.
