Just wanted to let everyone know how fun a 575 can be on a long road trip. You have the best of both worlds Speed and Comfort. I don't think I would have attempted it in the CS but my 575 was a blast and it has trunk space. Went from Phoenix to Vegas, spent a few days there and came back. Truly a nice road car.

I know what you mean: returned just this afternoon from 4,200km around Europe (mostly Italy) in a 550, and what a trip it's been (I'll post some pics in another thread)!

You're so right, they are amazing long distance companions. Cruising from Austria to Holland today, the 550 was taken up to 160mph with long stretches above 130mph (gotta love Germany), and it was an absolute pleasure: a 1-hand-at-the-wheel-drive at those speeds. Just a shame that the sealing is so bad - it is really noisy above 130mph. Still: you leave at 6 in the morning and at 1 in afternoon you've covered almost 1000km (625 miles) and sipping at your beer at home. Sadly, it's a dying era.

    Enjoy your marvellous 575!

Sealing is a little problem but I can over look that. I just wish these cars had cruse control for the really long trips.

Yes, my ankle and my heel are hurting a little at the moment, in fact.
