    Because I drive like a grandma on the street these days (due to very strict traffic laws in the state of VA), I haven't really had a chance to explore the performance of the car since I bought her in May. Went to a private track day with few friends last week and it was incredible! :) Coming from some performance focused Porsche 911s such as 996 GT3 and 997 GT3 RS, I never thought I would be this much impressed with this Ferrari. Hands down, Scuderia is the most exciting and best car I've ever owned and driven.

    I thought I would miss the involvement of manual transmission but it wasn't the case. Totally fell in love with that F1-S. Car turns in without drama even though it under steer a bit. Power delivery from the motor is also amazing!! With this car, you really have to take it to a track and experience a bit because after all it was built for it anyway. And, you paid premium for that. Scud is too fast and dangerous on the public roads to figure out what it is and how it really does.

    At the same day, I was also impressed by this McLaren MP4-12C. :p Man, that thing was keeping up with the Challenge car. What the heck... but I still love my Scud.

    Thanks for sharing. The gold rims look great with the strip! Glad to hear you respect the car because it's easy to get carried away driving a race car around town. Enjoy.

    I tell this to my Ferrari friends all the time. Get to the track!!

    Until you do that, you won't get the full experience!

    I am getting more and more tempted to go to a scud every day!!! I haven't driven one yet... I know once I do I will be dying to get one... congrats to all those that are enjoying them!!!

    It understeers because you're very likely running the stock setup (height, corner weights, alignment) and the stock crappy tires. With this setup, the car is very slow.

    Run with CST-OFF, if you want the car at its best, and want to save on unnecessary wear on the e-diff, ccb rotors and the rear brake pads.

    I like the Black/Gold combo, stunning.

    "Private track day" huh? Are you and your buddies part of some sort of mild-mannered-Dr. Jekyl - and -Mr. Hyde-personalities-only sort of driving club?

    The first rule of the club... You never talk about the club....

    Seriously, there was some pretty nice, powerful eye candy there with you! You were in really good company! And, yes, the new McLaren is deeply impressive. I have found it to be MUCH more of a car than its predecessor, the SLR. The SLR was all go, and that's about it.... It sucked to drive, IMHO.

    Summit Point main course, very nice!! Glad to see you get out and stretch her legs!

    Going into turn #1, one always would wonder, "will the brakes hold up??!!".

    That was my reaction the first time I brought my Scud to the track (also Summit Point), and has been my reaction each time since. I enjoy driving it in the street. However, I had no idea what it was really capable of until I brought it to the track. In fact, even after 5 trips to the track, the car still as tons of capability that I am still not capable enough to use. I was worried that bringing it to the track would make me lose enjoyment when driving it on the street. Actually, I enjoy it more on the street then before tracking it. Now driving it on the street evokes the feelings from the track, and reminds me of what the car is made for. It allows me to feel a bit like I have been at the track every time I take a drive.

    I was the lucky one to have the McLaren there...what a blast...its been some time since Ive been able to really let the car off the leash and what a great day...Ive still got the smile on my face...good weather, good friends...its why we do it right?

    I wish I knew about this would have loved to Lin you guys. I ran my Miata there in an event earlier this year but have yet to take the 360 on the track.

    Glad you guys like the pictures and my review. Sorry I've been not so active on fChat lately because of work+travels.

    Stock tires are definitely bad. No doubt. They all shoulda came with MPSS...

    Lol... It was organized by Aston Dealer. They rented the track for their customers and friends. Pretty good day to learn your car at high speed.

    One thing I noticed with Scud (on stock crappy tires) is that you need a warm up lap. I had GT3 RS before and that car is ready and up to go after few turns of hard pulls and stops. But, Scuderia, no. Brakes especially, they don't work well compare to 911 RS.

    Not good. But, they sounded real nice :)

    I love your car buddy. I noticed you were out most of the sessions otherwise, I would have asked to give me a ride for a lap or two. Hope to see you around.

    Lol. I agree but it is like saying they should all come with Magnetic drive... Unfortunately MPSS where not invented (or at least not available!) when the Scud was released... They are available as an option on the 458 though!
