My 360 spider didn't have its tool kit when I bought it so I bought a used complete tool kit from a Modena.

It doesn't have the tool for manually raising/lowering the roof so I would like to purchase that tool.

Does anyone know what it's called or have the part number?

    Thanks all,

    Michael

Have you looked in the parts book online at Ricambi - that will also hint as to its availability

Part #66306300. Ricambi has them listed. Be prepared as it is $260.00.

I've got to check my tool kit again just to be sure. The response that I received this morning regarding the top tool was from Daniel at Ricambi.
    -----------------------------------
The correct tool for a 360 top is this one :

But, it should already be in your tool kit that came with your car. If not, I suspect it'd be easy enough to fashion something similar (at a lower price) since its only going to be used rarely and in a 'situation' where originality takes a back seat to simply closing the roof.

    With Kind Regards,

My 2003 360 spider tool kit was missing the Tow Hook and that was not too bad. Ricambi had them for under $80.00. Not sure why the top tool is so pricy.

I"m curious, where does this tool fit in order to raise the roof manually? My 360 Spider doesn't have this tool either. Any pictures or videos available showing this in action?

Sorry to bump this thread but I am having a similar situation. I have a complete (to my knowledge toolkit) but do not have this part (the connector that fits on top of the allen wrench to secure the top closed). My toolkit does not have any empty slots in it.

Anyone know where specifically it may be located within the car or toolkit? Its part B in the picture from the owners manual and goes into the pictured square socket. Thanks!

Hmm well to close the loop here, after some additional time on here looking at other people's top operation posts, I've concluded that my complete toolkit does NOT Have this part. Maybe my toolkit is from a Modena? Strange bc I bought it from the guy who bought it new in 2004. In place of the slender "square coupling insert" as the manual calls it, I have some kind of huge clunky allen wrench adapter. Pics below of my toolkit vs one I found for sale online.

    Anyone know why this is???
