I'm actually looking for a toolkit, but that one looks a little rough, even for me.

    DonV,

Why do you say 'rough, even for me'............does this mean all your stuff is rough??? I believe that everything has a price, how about $10 would you buy it then??

I was just letting all the 'Boxer' owners know that I had it up for sale, I never suggested that it was in any other shape than 'As Is'. I don't believe it's necessary for you to post a smart **s remark which is of no constructive worth what so ever.

I was brought up with the philosophy of 'if you can't say anything nice then don't say anything at all' !!

I'm not complaining, in fact I'm happy that you posted it here! And I certainly don't think you are trying to fool anyone, or do anything dishonest.

I was just giving my opinion on the apparent condition, that's all. And, ironically, on the fact that I'm more a member of the "dirty Ferrari" group than the people who spend more time cleaning their cars than driving them.

I'm sorry if it offends you, but based on the pictures in your ebay auction, it does look rough to me. Nothing smarta** about it, that's how it looks to me. If I'm wrong, maybe you need to post some better pictures.

Well look at it this way, the car is worth $100K + and collectable. Would you buy a partial kit that is rough or wait and pay once to get a nice one? I would wait or might pay the $10 you mentioned to get a wrench if I was missing one.

hey, i would think it best to go a bit easy on don as he is a charter member of our boxer frat. now...it did not take don mentioning the tool kits apparent condition for us to form our own opinions. i for one think it looks rough too but notwithstanding that it will sell to somebody and i too am glad you posted here. i am also missing the tool kit.

we are all friends here and i promise it is better to join us as we all seem to have fun.

good luck in your e-bay sale!!

    best,

    peter

Yes, and the toolbox itself is £128 (without the tools)-- not completely unreasonable.

It mentions that it supersedes another part-- has anyone seen one of these new toolkits? Do they look just like the correct ones?

Well guys, it is what it is....

Sorry if I came on a bit strong but to make up for it I thought that you might like to see a pic of the BBi Boxer that I used to own.

It was a RHD, 1982, 'Medio Blue' that I purchased from Nick Cartwright, Derby, U.K in 1986. I sold it 4 or 5 years later. Although I wish now that I'd kept it.

Ferrari UK says they have no empty or full tool kits. Something I did notice is my friends 84 with the brief case has several more wrenches than the one shown here almost like the 365BB and 512BB kits contain different things. So, maybe a 365 case is availalbe, I dont know?

    lesliewales.......

I am going to make an assumption that the photograph was distorted during the scanning process.......the gap between the fenders and tires seems pretty large.

    Nice car though.

    Beautiful car.
There's the antenna on the roof again.
Did some BBis not have the antenna in the windscreen?
