Hello, I noticed that my tool pouch has this residual (glue?) from I guess a sticker that was once there. I have seen others with this too.. Does anyone know what actually left this mark?
It was a small white sticker, with a Ferrari emblem on the left side, and the part number for the tool pouch on it. I will post a picture tonight...mine is still on there
Sorry guys, the week has gotten away from me... heading home soon - then its Ferrari time! I will get it on here for you tonight
Here you go everyone...this is actually the tool pouch in my 91 Testarossa, but it is exactly the same as my 79 308GTS. Sticker fell of the 308 tool pouch and the glue residue did not come off. part number matches the Ferrari parts cataloge for the car Sorry but it is not a Batman sticker! Thats awesome Darryl... I tried the goo-gone on the 308 tool kit pouch. The sticky glue residue was gone but there was a faint white stain left behind that i could never get rid of. Hope this helps. Now we need to find a source for the stickers for the guys that want to add that element of detail. I'm sure there is a few guys here on Fchat that are really good with the computer (that would not be me) that could probably reproduce this sticker, and you can get the tool kit part number for any car easily.
I can do it no problem. I need the exact dimensions incl. corner radius, and possibly a photo with less distortion, e.g. as straight from the top as possible, and high res. I can upload a printable .pdf here for interested members.
I suppose I would just leave the part number out. This way the purchaser can add it in based on their car model.
Sorry I don' tget to spend as much time as I would like here... i appologize for the quality of the this photo, it was tought to get the pouch to lay flat for me on the scanner. But, here you go, the dimensions are exactly 1-3/4' x 2-3/4" couldn't come up with a radius, it is almost non-existant. Hope you can work with this Image Unavailable, Please Login
Hi Triton, I imported your file into CAD and did a quick study to determine the radius, which is ±1/16". Can you double check the 1 3/4" dimension? The proportion doesn't work... Len Image Unavailable, Please Login
OK guys, Lets start over... 1. Never let anyone measure anything for you. The verticle dimension is exactly 1-1/2" and the horizontal dimension is exactly 2-7/8"...don't ask, measured it twice myself tonight. I think my apprentice used a ruler from a Disney gift shop! please let me know how this works out guys
Don't remove the goo, it's from the factory! You're sure to lose points at the next show. If you already removed it, it's too late. Any other goo will just be tribute goo. It's only original once.
Triton, could I have the logo's dimensions in mm please. It seems distorted (too long) compared to my reference logo so I'd like to verify. Thanks.
