    Jerez 1997 was the place Schumacher drove into Villeneuve on the 46th lap, according to my video, all Villneuve had to do was finish in the top t6 and score a point and he was Champion, if you recall Daz355, he let Hakkinen and Couthard through as thanks for their helping him that day and settled for 3rd, Hakkinens first win and McLaren 1st & 2nd only results in a poor season, McLaren got a b0ll0cking for costing betting public millions playing with the results, denied by Williams of course.

    Yep, apologies for the Japan gaffe!

    DIIve (?) I agree with you about Schumacher to a certain extent, but do you not regard Hakkinen as a worthy opponent for Schuey? Blindingly quick throughout a race and scared Senna when me made his debut. He's also not one to back down in a confrontation....but saying that, for the reasons you started this thread, he's not in my top 10.
