Too long and ridiculous IMHO. How is the Jaguar E-Type lower than the Datsun 240Z? As owner of both cars, I recognize the impact they made, but the E-Type is far more significant that the Datsun could ever be. I see both cars as legitimate top-20 great, with the Jag a top-10 for sure.

And can they truthfully say the following cars have provided more contribution to automotive culture than the 2 above?

    Acura NSX?
    VW Golf?
    Fiat 500?
    1949 Ford? Huh?
    Regal GN????
    1973 Trans Am?

I could go on - but why? This is hardly a definitive list. I call FAIL.

HA HA HA!!! The Lancia Lambda and the Lancia Aurelia don't make the list of the top 100 cars. Notice that the author has an official title - he's the "listmaster"!

I can't wait for the "listmaster" to give us his top 100 film actors. Adam Sandler? Yep, he's on there. Spencer Tracy? Who's that?

Well, I'd venture to say that the 240z had a more significant impact on American car culture than the E type (which is what the list is supposed to rank- impact, not the car itself, yes?). However, it's odd to understand why the original Mini so highly regarded when it had almost zero impact on Amercan car culture, as did a fair number of other cars on the list, IMHO.
