Just thought it would be fun to list which cars we would have based on the above criteria . Here is my list : 1/ 512M 2/ 360 CS 3/ 550 4/ 355 challenge 5/ 458 speciale
Great list! I'd probably swap a 365GTC/4 for the 360CS on my own list, just to add a classic front engine V12 to the mix. But hard to argue with these choices since they're all cars that are infused with an extra helping of that specialness that makes Ferraris Ferraris.
550 Maranello, modified to ''GTO'' specs, much in the same light that 360Trev did his manual 360CS but went a bit overboard 360CS Speciale FF/GTC4Lusso F12 16m
what about top 5 sub $100k? Can we even list 5 under $100k 1. 348 2. 355 convertible 3. 456GTA 4. 328 5. ???
Mondial. Don't knock it till you try one. Fantastic ride, great engines, fantastic sound, great handling. And, the ability to get a 4-seat convertible. Sid
Agreed on the Mondial, like the 348 the later ones are really good but tarnished by maybe some subpar aspects of the early ones. A 3.2 or 3.4 are fantastic performers. In period they were really highly rated, and as said can be had in a convertible.
I don't think you can get a Speciale Aperta for under $500K The only one listed I could find is this for almost $800K Ferrari 458 Italias for Sale in Seattle, WA 98101 - Autotrader
