    DOES ANYONE KNOW IF THEY MAKE A CARBON FIBER AFTERMARKET TOP FOR A BARCHETTA. NOT ONLY IS IT A PAIN IN THE ASS TO INSTALL, BUT THE CAR LOOKS LIKE A JOKE WITH THE SOFT TOP UP.

    Yes a German company makes a hardtop for the 2001 Barchetta.

    Well, there are actually more than one maker of a hard top...just google "550 barchetta hard top" and they will come up...but really, they seem to be uglier than the soft top the car came with:http://www.barchetta550-hardtop.de/#

    Remember, the car was never really meant to be driven with the top up, this is a "fair weather" car. The real solution came later from Ferrari, it's called the 575 super america. ;) But for the hassle of swapping a hard top around on a 550 barchetta, why not drive one of the many other interesting cars you have?
