There are loads of potential circuits that are not f1 or testing tracks. Donington? Le Mans Bugatti? Zolder? Outlon Park? The list is huge... Surely they can get this done soon!

Cirquit de Catalunya - one my favourites

 

The Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya would be pretty much perfect.
In F1 being good at that track means you have a good car. It has a great combination of different speed corners and a long straight.

Anyone heard the news that Jeremy Clarkson has been suspended by the bbc...next weeks episode will not air due to this.

Stunts like this (whether they are legitimate or not) just generate more interest in the show. In today's society, there is really no such thing as bad publicity.

 

Not if the show gets cancelled as it has been announced!

With Jeremy's contract not being picked back up after the "fracas" along with Richard and James being out of their contracts soon, this hyper car comparison may just continue to be nothing more than speculation for a while longer.

 

The difference here is the BBC is no choice funded by the UK population from the annual TV license. They do not have adverts. Sure publicity helps but they're in a position where money doesn't really matter to them as their flow of it is pretty much guaranteed. Oh, and they're militant socialists.

 

I think it'll happen, but not on "Top Gear"...

 

I think the boys will start another program at a rival channel. I certainly hope so.
