Vaxhaul vx 220 turbo is alot better then the Lotus Elise, they need it here.....
and some crazy manuvering in the bently arnage.........i seriously didnt think you could do that with that car
Did you ever see the episode of "Fifth Gear" when Tiff Needell drove the Vauxhall and the Lotus? That was a good one. And I can't see choosing the Vauxhall over the Lotus. I'm sure the turbo gives the car a nice boost (pun intended), but the Lotus is much sexier. As for "Top Gear", did you ever see the Exige vs. Helicopter segment? A classic.
They mentioned that vx220 is coming to the US rebadged as the Saturn Sky, but I think its going to have the 2.4 NA motor not the 2.0 turbo one.
Why does top gear compare lap times on their cars when they test in "uncontrolled conditions." Some cars are tested on a nice cool day, some in the middle of a monsoon or snow storm. They make no corrections for this. Seems rather assinine! They tested the 997s and it placed just about in the bottom of their rankings. I believe that it was the above mentioned episode. Whats the point??? They then comment that "It would have done better in the dry..." Well, no sh*t sherlock... Is their shooting schedule so tight that they can't wait 1 lousy day?!
They only have about 6 nice days per year in the UK. If they only tested on sunny days, they would never have time to test.
whats difference between top gear and 5th gear shows? is clarkson involved in both and whats his backround as far as racing. i believe tiff was a racer. is that true? both fun to watch anyway
