Hmm. I caught the "Exige versus Apache Helicopter" episode of Top Gear on Saturday on the Science Channel, and thought, "Great! It's back." But no indication of it running this week, according to the Discover/Science channels web site. Was this an old episode, mistakenly labelled (by DirectTV) as "2006", or is this another "Show of the Week" done once a fortnight?
I don't think it is coming back on Discovery in the US. In the UK Fifth Gear comes back April 10 and Top Gear will probably be back in May. I can't wait for TG. I know they gave us the Winter Olympic show to hold us over but I'm starting to have withdrawal issues.
Oh wunnerful: Discovery "Science" channel just ran that same "Exige versus Apache Helicopter" episode again Wed night. "It's Deja Vu all over again." But if you're aching to relive the early days of the Stig, apparently it's been slotted for Weds 8pm (and 11pm). At least it's better than "Chop, Cut, Rebuild".
They have played that episode a few times, It is a refreshing escape from Motorweek and some of the other cookie cutter shows out there.
