top problem on 360

hey guys quick question i have a 360 spider and this season i have had the problem on and off with the convertible top the top goes down but the hard cover doesnt close so i took it to the techs and they told me that the top cloth is a bit loose and it blocks the sensor a bit so i m gonna have to fix it with my hands a bit and then close the roof all the way what are my alternatives how can i rectify this issue permanently?
