I am ordering a set of Top Speed headers for a 2006 F430 I just bought. I know that the Top Speed headers don’t come with any parts besides the headers and you have t hug everything separately. My understanding is you reuse the bolts from the stock headers. What other parts do I need to buy? I think gaskets also- how many and what are the part numbers? Any other parts?
    Thank you gentlemen.

Thank you. Do you know a good supplier for these two parts? I search on both Scuderia Parts and Ricambi and didn’t find them.

Dont reuse the nuts and studs, they are cheap enough to renew. We have had people on here having to drill out old studs that have broken. You also need the donut rings to go between the cats and the manifold, plus the manifold gaskets. Have a look at the condition of the bolts / springs/ nuts etc on the 3 bolt outlet flanges.

I also have some top speed headers.
I bought some OEM extra studs so I could send some to ARP who, if you are not familiar w/ is THE supplier of uber high-quality exhaust, head studs, bolts etc in USA famous among racers , and in the performance world . They currently have no Ferrari studs in their catalog but may be persuaded to make them .

If you use the oem studs you know they can be drilled out, be careful using something too special in case you cannot drill them out in situ.

There are a few threads on here about drilling out broken studs, it is normal practice to renew them and the nuts if you have been working on them. Nothing wrong with the oem bits anyway

yes we have replaced studs and nuts on many cars , and when we do we always try to upgrade them w/ the ARP products ! ( If possible )
If the stock studs are breaking I would say they DO have something wrong w/ them and in the speed world, fitting ARP hardware is common for tuners and engine builders . and even DIY'ers!
So we think it would be a favor to the Ferraristas' to have some superior replacements IF they want to use them .
we have lost about 150 Lbs fr our F430 a lot of that fr replacing stock hardware w/ Better , lighter titanium replacements ! ( and 40+ lbs was a lithium battery ! )

Does anyone know if the top speed headers need any kind of heat shielding?

Before you install top speed headers check the flange flatness on a table top or w a straight edge.

I’ve seen many sets not level requiring a machine shop to deck them.
